You may know Brandon Green as American Idol’s contestant who saves his fingernails, but it was his voice that saved his dream. Beating over 100,000 contestants, Brandon earned a spot in Idol’s elite top 50. Brandon’s musical journey, however, began long before America’s biggest singing competition.

As a youngster in the small town of Lucedale, Mississippi, Brandon had already begun entertaining his family with renditions of classic Rod Stewart songs such as "Have I Told You Lately?". Brandon soon graduated from singing in grocery aisles to classical choirs where his love for music grew.

As a high school freshman, Brandon dove into music, inspired by bands such as “Creed”. His small town claim to fame came with his victory in the high school talent show, a first for a Lucedale freshman. Brandon was hooked.

Leaving his Mississippi home, Brandon had his sights set on success. Operating a snow cone business while writing and performing on the side, Brandon’s talents grew. In addition to appearing on American Idol, Brandon has been working on location as a musician in Jack Black’s upcoming movie, “Year One”. A small town boy with big dreams, Brandon is looking forward to meeting his fans and performing his original compositions from his self titled album, Brandon Green.
